Hi:

Could you all tell me, those with experience with LDN- I went up to 3 two nights (per llmd) ago and have felt horrible yesterday and today-- like I was hit by a truck -- now my ears are going so it feels like a herx. Is it common for LDN to cause a herx and how long does it continue to do this. I didn't do this on 2 mg. Thank you all...

I would guess that if the LDN is working properly, you should experience a Herx.

I would also guess it should level off at some point also, as the bacterial load is brought down.

I take LDN for Crohn's and a Herx is not part of the equation in this case, but it makes perfect sense to me for Lyme.

Thank you Dan and BCB. I imagine you are both correct. Today was the worst herx I have had in my entire treatment of a little over 2 years.

I wasn't able to work until the end of the day-- thankfully by about five I was able to move.

Thank you both...
