Just wondering how long the IGeneX tests usually take to get back? I had the Lyme IgM, IgG, IFA, and PCR.

A few days, a week, two weeks, longer?

And my doctor gets the results, right? They won't be mailed to me, I have to ask my doctor about it?

Thank [Smile]

Hi,

My experience was that it took about 2 weeks.

If your Dr does not have the results in 2 weeks you can call Igenex and ask them to check if the tests are done.

Igenex will not give you the results. They can fax them to your Dr if they have their fax #.

After your Dr gets the results, you should get a copy from your Dr.

7 to 10 business days to process at the lab. One results are obtained your llmd will receive them via computer scan immediately. It then is up to your llmd when he/ she will get around to contacting you .

Definitely get my own copies of everything. My primary will be sending me a copy at home (fax) and then my LLMD's office will get one. [Smile]

Thanks again
