Just before this relapse/flare I noticed a really stong metallic taste in my mouth several days prior. It was really bad and I couldn't attribute it to anything.

Is this a lyme symptom? Anyone else get this?

Thanks [Smile]

I had the metallic taste in my mouth while taking Flagyl.

Sometimes abx's can do this.....

Before I get "sick" I can tell a taste in the back of my throat. I am not sure it is really metallic, but it always seems to precede infection for me. (Sinus infection, allergies, cold, and congestion).

As soon as these symptoms come, I start with the vitamin C and a concoction made by Buried Treasure called ACF. It has all kinds of good stuff in it.

I got the taste while not on any meds. It just got really bad right before I had this relapse.

Just thought it was strange.

Biaxin and some the antibiotics can cause this.
