I did a quick search, but didn't find what i am looking for. I believe there is a group that talks about lyme and pregnancy. Can you point me to it?
Also, I am looking for the most up to date literature/reserach on lyme and pregnancy.

The group you may be thinking of is called "PregLyme" and it is in "Yahoo groups," on the www.yahoo.com website.
I looked through that group.....and not only is it hard to read (the formatting), but I didn't find the info to be too up-to-date.
I was pregnant last year, and consulted with Dr. J, and my Lyme doc also treats women through their pregnancies. So you can PM me, or ask me here, exactly what you want to know....because I have been through "some" of it, fairly recently. The best source of up-to-date info is just talking to women who have been guided (by an LLMD) through the process recently. I ended up miscarrying pretty early on in the pregnancy though, unfortunately. As far as I know, nothing has changed since last year, in terms of how LLMD's treat pregnant women with chronic Lyme.
We are planning on trying again for another pregnancy, sometime between 1-4 years from now....though it could be sooner.
There is also a woman who just had a baby, who blogged about it. Let me go find the blog, and I'll come back and post the link.
Also, the Lyme Times Children's edition has a page or two dedicated to Lyme in pregnancy....in the "study," no women who took Amoxicillin during pregnancy gave birth to a baby with Lyme (though it does happen, probably in less than 1% of moms who take antibiotics properly during the whole pregnancy...if I am remembering correctly, what my doc told me).
Also, to answer your original question more directly....there really isn't ANY up to date research on Lyme and pregnancy, that I know of. When you consider chronic Lyme and not just "Lyme," (the latter being, woman who gets a bullseye rash while pregnant) it basically comes down to that one study I mentioned that was published in the Lyme Times Children's Edition.
The info is just in the brains of the doctors. That's really it. So if you have any questions, ask away, and if I don't know the answer, I will tell you. I asked a ton of questions when I first got pregnant last year....so chances are that whatever your question is, I asked it.
