Just wondering if anyone has used this treatment for babesia? I've just started this treatment and it is the first infection I am treating (haven't treated lyme yet) If so, what were your results?
Thanks.

Pocono Lyme is going to try this, maybe give her a shout.

I think it's wise to treat Babs first.

I have been treating babesia for ten months with Mepron/Zith/Tindamax. I just started adding Lariam.

I really wanted to try Clindamycin/Quinine because some have had great success with that protocol. Unfortunately, the herx or reaction was too extreme for me.

Hopefully, it will be a successful combination for you....

I got well (from Babs) with clindamycin and quinine. I never took Mepron at all, though I did take some malarone.

I finished off the babesia with zith and artemisinin.

Be sure to protect yourself from c.diff by taking saccromyces boulardi. Clindamycin is bad about causing it, though it was no trouble for me.

I tried this combo and couldn't handle it.

The zith/mepro was the one I could do.

Just remember that we all react differently to each drug and combo's.

Hi Lymetoo,

I was wondering if saccromyces boulardi can be found as a supplement or by prescription only?

Thanks a lot.

It took me a long time before I was ready for that treatment protocol.

But hey---it might work.
