Wow.....thank you so much for posting this link.

I have to admit that I have not tried it, but I will be.

I do use Stevia for sweeteners in my cooking since it is suppose to be a good substitute for Lyme patients.

I can't comment on the taste, so hopefully others will give you lots of comments. I definitely will try it. Thanks again.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that hadn't heard of this product. Thanks again for sharing the link, LSG.

How long has this product been out on the market?

Warning to those sensitive to yeast issues:

Erythritol:

Erythritol is a natural sugar alcohol found in fruits and vegetables, has no calories, and has no effect on blood sugar levels. Erythritol does not promote tooth decay. Erythritol is used in all seven Zevia products.

MAY OR MAY NOT affect your gut issues... but I know I'm very sensitive to sugar alcohols myself.

Still... I WOULD try this product! [Cool]

I've had no problems with Diet Barq's or Sprite Zero. Yes, these contain aspartame, which I know some (most) on here say is a no-no.

But Dr. B says they are fine if tolerated. and I do okay with them.

I have been drinking the Zevia for about a year now. The black cherry is my favorite, the cola is good too. by the way, you can buy one can at a time so you can taste a certain flavor.

I read that Pepsi and Coke are also working on formulas using stevia. Yay!!!

Coka Cola Company Makes Diet Coke with Stevia and has for a long time.
I noticed it years back when I still had been wanting to drink cola.

No more.

But its good they are putting out options.

I just tried a new drink by Honest Tea. It is all organic and sweetened only with Stevia. It's pretty cool!

http://www.honesttea.com/tea/plastic/passion_fruit_green/

It does contain "natural passionfruit flavor" though....whatever that means!

I'll drink water, thanks! I ordered Stevia and finally threw it away. Should have sent it to one of y'all. Yuck!!! Nasty stuff to my taste buds! Guess everyone's different.

Stevia is odd. You use much less than sugar and it seems the more you use the worse it gets.

First time I tried it I hated it, took me at least 3 months before my wife could talk me into trying again.

Next time was in some coffee blend, like one drop, and it was pretty good. It doesn't taste like sugar to me. It reminds me of green tea.

I went without sugar, tried sugar substitutes and made the herx 100x worse. When I cut back on sugar I just got tired. I finally started back with sugar and I feel better, sort of.

If you're a soda addict, Zevia will be a huge disappointment to you. BUT, if you've had nothing but water to drink for yrs like most of this, you'll Love Zevia. The root beer and orange was pretty tasty but the ginger ale was icky - way too much ginger in it.

You mean there's a soda with Stevia? Thanks for posting that link. I'm going to have to check it out.

I bought the powdered Stevia..and it took some getting used to. Still not too thrilled with it, but I just CAN'T drink water all the time.

I just HAVE to have a soda sometimes, and have been getting "high octane" (sugar) ones. This is exciting news for me!

I've been drinking sweet tea with about 1/3 to half the sugar I previously used.

As you said Misfit, just can't drink water only and sometimes just need some sugar and salt.

I think when the kidneys go to work after a herx it filters out too much.
