Just wondering what most people treat first (lyme, babesia, bartonella, etc.) Does it make a big difference?

Different doctors have differing opinions. The one I hear the most is to treat the co-infections before the Lyme. But I think everyone's treatment is tailored individually to them.

It makes sense to me to treat whatever is in the foreground most aggresively. It also makes sense to use abx that target the other infections so that nothing else takes over and gets out of control.
Bactrim DS targets both bart and babs. It needs to be combined with a macrolide like biaxin or zithro which is also effective against lyme. You can pulse flagyl or tindamax to get the cyst form of lyme.
I read in a book that Dr. H gives patients with all three infections bactrim ds, a macrolide (zithro, biaxin, roxithromycin, ketek), and mepron. He prefers the macrolide zithromax.
I believe it is a big mistake to take a cookie cutter approach to treating these infections. I went to an LLND that refused to treat my bart which was my primary problem, insisting that she always treats lyme first. Never mind that I had been treating lyme for two years and at that time was nearly symptoms free. I did not return to her.
I am waiting to see a LLMD in Novemeber. Until then I am trying to cover the bases taking bactrim ds, zithro, artemesinin, resveratrol, lubrokinase, cysteine for bart and babs. The zithro helps with lyme. I have added amantadine, if I can tolerate it to help the zithro be more effective. And I pulse tindamax twice a week for the cysts.

Nefferdun: When you pulse tindamax, do you still take the other meds on those days? What is your dosage on those days?
