So i went back to the nuerologist with my same symptoms of visual intolerance even with just walking. No vertigo.
Not sure I have Lyme yet, or if at all. But of course they refused a western,a nd did the serum titer, of course negative. but they did possibly see an Internuclear ophthalmoplegia (INO).
They have previous ruled out MS and all other bad things. Anyone even have told they have a one eyed INO as a finding when they were being worked up.
I searched it on Pubmed and there a few papers as an INO as the first sign of a few lyme cases, and resolved after treatment.
I am scheduled for a evoked potential test, to test the nerve pathways on my limbs and what not. we'll see.
I asked for doxy for a month just to see, and of course he said doxy is only good at treating early lyme.
anyways, just thought i'd see if anyone had an INO? Just my right eye with horizonatl gaze gave me trouble i am told. thanks keith

Why don't you see an LLMD for proper diagnosis? At least if it's not Lyme he can rule it out!

- You won't save any money by going to ignorant doctors. They will not be able to tell you any more than you know from a evoked potential test. Oh, it may give some detail but it can also miss a lot.
You ALREADY know that you have problems. They will not consider infection as a cause. They've already discounted lyme.
Looking back over your posts, you had SATELLITE RASHES after "many embedded" ticks. That clearly points to lyme.
You need to consult ASAP with a LLMD. -

- For you, INO sounds like lyme, along with your other symptoms and bite, rash history. Please see a LLMD. Lyme can cause blindness. It can also be fatal. Just the facts.
Neuroborreliosis is neuro-lyme, lyme infection of the nerves, brain, eyes, etc.
"After a tick bite, Bb undergoes rapid hematogenous dissemination, and for example, can be found within the central nervous system as soon as twelve hours after entering the bloodstream."
Lyme disease possible? -

cork, I can't stress enough that you need to be seeing a Lyme-literate doc. There are a # in Massachussets, incl. THE Dr. D. PLEASE don't waste your time with ignorant, Misguided DiagnosticianS. Posts: 1233 | From Dover, NH | Registered: Sep 2008
