We all can have different types of herxing. And from time to time my herx's even change what they are.
Is it in a cycle time for you to have one? Did you change med's lately?
I usually get a weird pressure headache and chills... Then sometimes sweating/chills and muscles hurting worse.
All so different. Could be, or have you been around anyone with the flu?

Janice, if you changed meds about 3 weeks ago, it could easily be a herx.
What are the new meds?

Janice..we are on the same schedule except I changed 2 weeks ago and am on Rifampin / Biaxin. I had nausea and chills / flushing the first 1.5 weeks. Thursday/Friday this week were much much better.
I do think it is a herx.

Did you have stiff neck/back? I woke up sweating last night which I haven't had in a long time.
This morning nausea, upset stomach. I don't know what to think of this mess.
Any advice would be great.

Hi Janice, not to confuse you more but I had these same symptoms before I treated, during treatment and now almost a year of being off all treatment, it started back up for me.
I'm getting severe flushing of the face/neck/chest area plus dizzy spells, nausea, headache, stiff neck/collarbones/upper back.
I have no idea what is going on because I thought this was a herx (it still could have been for me but not sure now). I haven't started any new meds so not sure why this is happening except that maybe I need to go back on ABX??
Hope you find answers.
