I know many people have all kinds of joint issues with lyme, But any reason why a siff neck seems to be a constant area amoung many, kmt

- It's lyme meningitis to a degree, inflamed nerves and tissue in the neck are very common with neurolyme. Partly, though, exhaustion from lyme results in the inability to hold one's head in good alignment.
Lyme also results in magnesium deficiency and that causes wide spread muscle pain. The neck can take the brunt of that from muscle contractions resulting from magnesium deficiency.
Also common: swollen, inflamed brain, - called lyme encephalitis.
Within 12 hours of a bite from an infected tick, borrelia can infect the nervous system. Neck pain is often a first clue. Other tick-borne infections also contribute to this inflammation from active or chronic infection. -

I also have the neck pain plus all the lymph nodes (is that right) are swollen in my neck, throat, and shoulder area.
Seen 3 LLMDs and it took this last one to finally figure it out!
