I have someone in Southern/Central NJ that is highly symptomatic & has likely been undiagnosed for many years.
She's been through the whole "It's all in your head", Dx: Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Celiac Disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Depression, Insomnia, etc....
She's got Cigna HMO. I realize it's unlikely that I'll find her a LLMD that accepts her insurance, but I'm willing to try. She's REALLY in a bad place financially.
I know of a couple of LLMDs in Central Jersey, but she has trouble getting around so I was hoping there might be some a little further South.
I'm going to do what I can to get information to her present PCP, but I'm not sure where that will get us. I think I've sent him stuff before with a different patient, though I don't know if she actually had the nerve to give it to him.
Perhaps I need to pay him a visit. I wish I had more strength right now.
I had been looking for my lists for a while because I'd had some time & I HAD thought about trying to help out over here but I have no idea WHAT I've done with them.
I used to rely on walyme, but when that when down, I looked & couldn't find the lists I'd compiled. I wish I would have printed it all out back then.
We've also done some rearranging in my house & I have a feeling they may be lost forever.
If anyone can e-mail me current LLMD info, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'll try to help in Seeking again whenever I can with whatever info anyone wants to PM me.
Sorry I've been slacking. I hope you folks who've been so diligent over here can forgive me for not helping out more.
Thanks in advance!
Ali

Please check your private messages for the LLMD list for New Jersey and information regarding ILADS, Dr. B's guidelines and helpful links.
Do join in the discussion in our ``medical section'' for additional help, education and support. It's a great place to learn more about this very complex illness. You can also find your local support group on the left hand side of this web page for additional help.
