It's a short flight to Connecticut if he could see Dr. J for initial appt. and then perhaps Dr. J could work with a local LLMD in Fla.
If you don't know a poster personally you may want to rely more on someone's recommendation that you do know better.

How about the other famous Dr. J. that is moving to the Washington area? I'm trying to remember when I saw him in UOS if he sees teens...I'm not sure.
If your friend is willing to travel this might be a great choice.

I took my three daughters to the practice of Dr. J. newly in the D.C. area. AT the time I was seeing Dr. J, about 3 years ago, still in N.C., he was taking teens and even a little younger.
We saw the P.A. in his office, a woman, whom we still love to death. I think she has continued to move with his practice. Her first name begins with S. Wonderful woman.

the other dr. j's wife has breast cancer and 5 yr. old daughter diagnosed with leukemia at same time; so family is coming first as needed ...fyi only.
