Thank you to all who responded to my request to find a doctor. I was impressed with the knowledge this group has. I have another question for the group. When I started taking the antibiotic for Lyme I started to swell in the my lower legs and I had a elevated BNP level. Did anyone else have this trouble? The doctors ordered my heart tested stat. It appears fine. It's just strange that this started with I started with the Doxycycline. I've been off the medicine for a week and seem to be the same. I'm being sent to an infectious disease specialists who I do not think is going to help. It seems like no one knows what to do or what direction to take.

Dallas, I have asked the moderators to move your post to the medical section. You will get many more responses there and very possibly there are members who have had this experience.

Unless the infectious disease doctor is a ILADS member, I doubt that you will find the answers you are looking for.

Are you now under the care of an LLMD? If not, I would suggest that you proceed in that direction.
