Seeking a Lyme literate M.D. in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado or Utah. In that priority order by state, please.

I am an adult with chronic, long-term, L.D., on and off, since 1994. Documented brain and bone involvement. Also contracted HGE & RMSF. Having a relapse as of about a month ago. I'd been reasonably well for 5 years, moved away from previous physician.

Have positive Lyme antibody at 1.51 about mid-November 2009. Primary care refused to treat, said he knows "nothing about Lyme Disease", and I am now on my own. Going downhill fast. I do have medical insurance.

I've been well enough to work the past 4 years, have a wonderful employer...he has watched me get sicker by the day for the past 6 weeks. He will not mind my taking time off work to get medical help.

If you need my phone number, please ask in private email and I'll provide it to you. Thank you so much for your help. Will send donation.
