Hello! On july 25th 2009 i pulled a tick off of my stomach. A week later got a severe stiff neck then noticed a red rash where the tick was. The rash grew to about 10 inches and felt like someone put an iron on my skin.1st doctor I saw literally laughed @ me because i suggested i possibly could have lyme. He asked if i even knew what a tick was.
I have a brother in the medical field, out of state. I ended up calling him and he believed i quite possibly could have lyme. he call in the prescription of doxicycline.
I went to request a lyme test. which did come back positive. i went ot a infectious disease doctor who said I needed to get a spinal. it came back normal.
Now my doctor thinks i am suffering from anxiety.
my symptons have only increased in quantity. The only thing the antibiotic did was get rid of my rash. since then i have notice a few rashes come and go.
I have now gone from flu like symptons, racing pulse, loss of appetite, ringing in my ears, floaters in my vision and exhaustion, to the same as above plus about 2 weeks ago, my hands started swelling, my hair is falling out, i get intense chills and shakiness. the joints in my hands and wrists are hurting.
I am also starting to feel it in my knees. It is becoming harder to grip items with my hands.
Mentally It is starting to affect me. it is becoming more and more difficult to concentrate and do everday activities. I need help!!!!
