We are seeking a doctor for our 15 year old daughter. We have seen multiple doctors and specialists in the area, and all are stumped. Her symptoms are extreme fatigue, nausea, fogginess in thinking, and achiness.

We've had 2 Western Blot tests done, and both came back "negative", testing positive only on one band 41.

Her symptoms started in late August, about one month after she had a mystery rash that moved around her body in mid-July. She also had pulled a tick off her ankle in mid-August.

We thought she had mononucleosis (high fever, achiness, severe headache), but the Epstein Barr test was negative. She seemed to get slightly better after 2 weeks (mid September), but then has been really struggling ever since. Rather than a fever she chills easily, and continues to be extremely fatigued, achy, and nauseated.

We welcome any help and advice anyone can give.

If you post your email address here, I'll send you information about doctors in St. Louis privately. We don't post doctors' names on this board. There is a pediatrician in St. Louis who knows about Lyme disease.

Why don't you just PM the poster? We generally don't encourage posters to post their email addresses on the open forum.

I sent you a PM. Band 41 is significant. The lab your dr used may not have tested for all bands.

So consider testing through Igenex lab in CA.

www.igenex.com

The dr I mentioned to you will handle that for you.
