I'm in the UK on miliatary orders and have started treatment for lyme here. I have been treating since July and am bad off. Getting worse and am going to try to come back to the US for treatment.
My family is in CO so I'm seeking a LLMD there or near there.
I've got the list of dr's in CO, but don't know which one is best. I really need to make the best choice cause the plane tickets to fly me and my kids home are EXPENSIVE and don't want to fly back and see someone that I'm disappointed with.
Please, those of you that see a LLMD in CO or near there will you PLEASE pm me names and numbers and why or why you don't recommend the dr.

I go to the Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Center in south Denver. They are WONDERFUL. They test for bacteria and viruses as a matter of course, and that's how I found out I had Lyme. Here's their website:
They actually have centers nationwide, and will help you with Lyme and whatever else you may have. I am currently fighting my insurance co. over paying for it, and it can be pricey, but the intial consult would be worth it anyways.

I see Dr. S (there's two docs there). I don't know if this doc is a certified Lyme doc, but I can tell this doc knows a lot about it and treats it aggressively.

I am still having trouble finding a LLMD for my daughter, who is 13. Tonight, she had 2 basketball games and said her knees and feet were KILLING her. She is also very fatigued all the time, and has frequent headaches. All I want is a stinkin' Lyme test from Igenex, and it's like pulling teeth trying to get that for her! Unfortunately, my doc doesn't treat kids, so she can't do anything for them. I've been trying to get an appointment with an infectious disease doc for almost 3 weeks now, and it's always one excuse or another! They even ordered tests through her pediatrician that were the SAME tests (Lyme through LabCorp, not Igenex) that were already done and faxed to them. I'm ready to Lyme rage all over their $#*(%*% if I don't get an appointment for her soon! I was also going to try rifing and, if it works on me, I'll get her going on it. Gotta do something for the poor girl! Thanks for listening.
