Hi. I'm new here. I just discovered this board a few days ago and I've already gotten so much good information I haven't found elsewhere! Thank you to everyone for sharing and I will try to do the same!
My condensed story is that I was dx with Lyme over 3 years ago but have most likely had it 10 years or more. When I first started treatment I responded really well for the first 6-10 months. Then the last 2 years I've just kind of teetered back and forth from doing bad to doing worse. I seem to be 'stuck' and I'm ready to see some progress!
Although I appreciate my Doc (Dr. B) for getting me to this point, I'm not sure he can help me anymore. So I am considering switching to someone in my area more knowledgeable if at all possible.
If anyone can help me find a doc around the Kansas City area, I would be very grateful. And if anyone has any info. on Dr. B, I'd like to discuss him as well.
I've recently gotten some feedback from a couple of his former patients that I need to sort out as it would affect my treatment.
Thanks!!
