I tested positive for Lyme in September. I was on amoxicillin for 21 days and was then told my an infectious disease doctor that my western blot was probably a false positive because I live in the midwest, and even if it was positive the antibiotics I was one would get rid of it. During this whole ordeal I suffered my second miscarriage (which I'm not sure is related to Lyme or not, including my first miscarriage in July). Well now I am suffering from horrible chest pains and stomach pains. I have no idea if it's associated or if it's a bacteria related (like a co-infection) but he refuses to re-test me. I would like to catch this before it's too late. Let me know if you have a doctor or any advice! Thanks!
