I had a tick bite on my head 2 1/2 years ago....had a rash under my arm....remember having very scary numbness in my arms that woke me from sleep....horrible joint pain...my doctor sent me to a rheumatoligist who giggled at me when i mentioned the tick bite and said that Ohio doesn't have ticks that carry lyme. I was diagnosed with sle lupus, and also told i may have had hepatitis....I can't let this rest....I just happened to stumble upon information tonight that stated there has been cases of lyme in ohio, and I really do want to be tested for it. anyone know of a doctor close to or in ohio who tests/treats for lyme? thank you for all of your responses in advance.

I got your message! Thank you so much! I am going to wait on my lyme titer test....they said about 5 days and then see what my doctor says....but I am going to try to get in to be seen asap with someone who knows about lyme.
God Bless You! I've gone the past 2 years thinking I had lupus...I'd sure love to prove that wrong....I'd love to be able to treat whatever this horrible disease is!
