I am 36 yrs. old & have had unexplained knee swelling for 2 yrs. After MRIs, x-rays, surgery all coming up normal, I was told by orthopedic my bloodwork was positive for Lyme this past Sept. I was referred by orthopedic to a rheumatologist. Rheumatologist has drained my swollen knee & all fluid came back, according to him, normal with no sign of Lyme, rheumatoid, crystalline, etc. He wants to put me on Mobic for inflammation indefinitely but I am scared to let the Lyme diagnosis just go by the way side with not treatment. (btw, was put on 60 days of Doxy for the lyme & was symptom-free all of those days till I went off it & the swelling came right back) I would like to go to a LLMD
