Hello, for the last 5 months I have been suffering from a variety of symptoms after working on a farm on eastern long island for the summer.
I've had 3 blood tests, 2 sonograms and an x-ray. All come back fine.
I had 2 Lymes tests in the first few weeks which came back negative.
My first symptoms were indigestion, fever, flushing, and intense weakness. These symptoms lessened but I have light-headed spells usually followed by weakness the next day.
My right elbow hurts on and off ( not intense ). My vision is very sensitive to light sometimes and my head and eyes feel like they are in a vice grip.
All these symptoms come and go. I have been to about 4 doctors including a GI specialist. When I explain all these symptoms they look at me like I am a hypocondriac.
I am 37 years old and have been healthy all my life. I believe I have Lymes disease but I cannot get help! Can somebody please recommend a Doctor in my area? I live in Astoria queens now ( moved from Mattituck, NY).
Thanks,
Kirk

Kirk, I'm sending you a pm. The tests you had were not good enough. The eliza and western blot miss two thirds of cases. You'll go to an LLMD and they'll probably use the lab IgeneX. Anyway, lyme SHOULD be a clinical diagnosis.
