Hello. I have been treated for lyme disease since 1990 by Dr. D. in NJ until late 2007, when she stopped practicing.
My family doctor took over prescribing my antibiotics since then. Unfortunately, she just retired. I was doing very well until I ran out of meds a month ago. Her replacement won't treat my lyme.
Please help! My symptoms are returning. I dealt with this disease for so long and was finally doing better. I don't want to go back to that! Many times in past 20 years I stopped antibiotics.
My symptoms always came back. Headaches, burning knees, heart problems, fatigue, numb hands. I was grateful to have overcome these with antibiotics and lifestyle changes. Thank you.
