I am a 20 year-old college student from LI. I was diagnosed with Lyme about five months ago, and after the standard antibiotic treatment, was told that I was cured. I don't believe this to be true.
I still have significant joint pain, something that I did not have prior to this diagnosis. I am now on medication for this joint pain, but have no true diagnosis or answer as to why it is happening.
I have been doing a lot of research (reading books, articles, etc.) and am just looking for answers and hope.
Thank you.
