My friend is having some pretty hefty adrenal issues and her cortisol levels have tanked incredibly low. She's in the hospital right now and her body isn't responding to the standard conventional med they're using, and that's all they know how to do (it's a conventional hospital so it's pretty cool that they even thought to test her cortisol levels...but now they don't know what to do with the info!).
She has only seen conventional MDs and isn't quite open to seeing an ND yet...so I'm wondering if someone knows of an integrative/holistic/open minded MD who knows how to treat or strengthen the adrenals? She lives in Lancaster PA.
