I am one of those "recovered" lymies who never comes back to tell you that you CAN get better... my bad. But that doesn't mean I don't care. I've recently been corresponding with a friend of a friend who has a lot of neuro lyme symptoms and ambiguous titer/western blot (only 1 band positive, probably for 41 but I'm not sure).
Anyway, he lives in Nicaragua (btw, this is where I am pretty damn sure I got lyme) but is currently in SoCal, looking into diagnoses after an MRI showed demyelinization on his spine. I'm putting him in touch with my Seattle LLMD, but does anyone have any good contacts in SoCal? He's supposed to head back south April 6th, so time is of the essence. Please PM me with any leads!
Thanks Kim
