Hello,
I was diagnosed by a general practioner as having Lyme's Disease, just by my symptoms.
I am 56, female, suddenly began having red, swollen and very painful joint pain (wrists, ankles, hips etc). I was very physically active and would be in severe pain in the evenings. I also started having nightime fevers of 101-102, with normal daytime temperatures.
The doctor put me on 500mg Amoxicillin, 3 times per day for 4 weeks. I am close to the end of week 2 and still having joint pain when I am at all active, also feeling tired.
Does anyone know of a good doctor I could see in Texas for this. Also, do you agree that it sounds like I could have Lyme's? I never had the rash, at least not that I ever noticed.
thanks for your help!

Many here never had a rash with their LYME disease... that is why so many of us are chronic.

Hope you will see the Dr W that "Siciliano" mentioned to you.
