I am currently under dr D's care and he has been great in trying to get my lyme under control.

But this is my fourth round of antibiotics and I just continue to feel worse and worse.

Would it be advisable to see a nutritionist or homeopath in combination or should I check with Dr D first?

Would I need to see a homeopath that has experience with lyme? Can you recommend someone in Northern NJ?

(I am 21 and have chronic lyme.)

I'm sorry but I am no longer accepting any private messages due to my own battle with lyme.

It is rare to find a doctor of homeopathy who treats lyme. Lyme requires much more than homeopathy.

However, there are some LL naturopathic doctors (ND) or acupuncturists (L.Ac.) who have years of training in herbal medicine and nutrition. Some also have training in certain homeopathic remedies for symptom relief.

Together with your LLMD, a good LL ND or LL L.Ac. might be helpful. Or for some reason do you want to stick to just a homeopathic doctor or a nutritionist (who would offer mostly diet advice)?

Some D.Cs and D.O.s have some additional training in nutritional supplements such as vitamins & minerals. For herbal medicines, you'd want to see a ND or L.Ac.

For more about the different areas of natural medicines, this is a good basic book/site that explains a lot:
