Have a bullseye pattern around a tick bite and don't want to mess around! I'm 31 years old. I first noticed the tick bite on Saturday 4/24. I didn't find an attached tick, so I can't be 100% positive, but that same weekend we found numerous ticks the dog was brining in from out back. We treated the house and the dog, and the ticks are gone. The area around the bite developed a broadening red area, so I went to see a "doc in the box" at a local clinic. He said he didn't know if it was infected, but prescribed me 200mg doxycycline per day for 14 days in case it was.
Yesterday, 5/8, I woke up feeling like all of my energy was drained. I read up on doxycycline and determined the fatigue was a side effect. I called the doctor who told me to discontinue it, and if any symptoms show up, to come in and they'll treat me from there.
But, I realize the fatigue might be Lyme! At this point I'm probably only 2 weeks or so from the time of the bite, and I really want to get a proper test done to know for sure if I have Lyme or not, and if so, to attack it with full force right away so it doesn't get out of hand.
I want to get a qualified doc in Atlanta to help give a proper diagnosis, and if needed proper treatment. Thanks very much in advance.

Thanks very much to those who replied. I have an appointment today with an LLMD near me, and will hopefully get a good diagnosis and treatment plan (hey, maybe I'll get lucky and not have Lyme!). Either way, thank you all--this site is a great service.
