Hello everyone with this annoying diagnosis. I've put off treatment after the doxycycline didn't work, which my PMD prescribed. Now, I'm feeling mild symptoms: acheness in my joints, some depressive episodes, and fatique. does anyone know of an integrative dr. near around Baltimore. I would like to incorportate a holistic approach, which my insurance will pay for. I have Hopkins EHP, and so far, one holistic Dr, I've looked at does not participate with EHP. If anyone has my insurance and knows of an integrative LLMD Dr. @ B-more that would be fantastic! Thanks for any input!

The best lyme docs don't take insurance.
You want a lyme doc who has gotten rid of this disease for at least 3 people. Lots of docs treat lyme disease, but not many know enough to get rid of it for people.
When you are ready to go to a good doc who doesn't take insurance, but knows how to get rid of this disease, let me know.
And, lyme can become much more than an "annoying diagnosis." Once it starts affecting your brain, you can become unable to work. Many on this forum are disabled.
I completed my lyme treatment 5 years ago and I am still symptom-free, enjoying my life. It is the same life I had before lyme disease.
Wish you the best.
