I hve grown distrustful of most doctors.... I've seen 16 doctors including the Mayo clinic. My husband read that she is a good Lyme Homeopath, I have not found any testimonials... Any recommendations? or former/current patients comments greatly appreciated!

Sorry, I can't answer your question, but I do have a request.
Please edit your topic line and remove the doctor's name.
It's against the rules of this board to mention Lyme practitioners by name on the public board, but of course you didn't know that. Use last initial and state only, for example, Dr. X in OR.
It is fine to mention and discuss doctors by name with another member via the private message feature, just not on the public board.
See the post for new members anchored to the top of this page for information about this policy.
Thank you, Nutmeg

You are smart to check out if this homeopath is worthwhile or not. This is a good place to look. Some natural doctors claim to know about Lyme, or a have a few good testimonials, but are really not very good.
You may also want to post this in General Support, which you can find by clicking "Questions and Discussion" on the upper right of this screen. More people check General than this section.
Another idea would be to post a topic called something like, "Good Lyme ND's in PA?" to see what useers on this site recommend. I think you could post that both here and in General Support.
ND stands for Naturopathic Doctor, a general term for doctors that aren't mainstream.
Good luck!

- First of all, sadly, Mayo clinic is a horrible, horrible place that denies, denies lyme disease. Sorry you had to go through that.
From what I've studied and used, Homeopathy is as helpful for lyme treatment. It works on subtleties and can help with symptoms but not actually addressing the major stealth infections, themselves.
There are a couple very good ILADS-educated LL NDs (naturopathic doctors) right here in Portland, although there are no LLMDs in the state. And many NDs are trained in homeopathy, too, just as they often are also licensed acupuncturists. Just ask about their training.
If not ILADS-educated, though, run. They need the science of lyme, etc. even if they take a different path. Many also use antibiotics with supplements.
