Two years ago I removed 2 ticks after a visit to TN. I live in OR but after 3 months of hell and every DR known to man, I was sent out to sea. I grew better and recently had an attack of low back pain and then my neck started hurting, just to either side of my low neck area, around c-7. It hurts to press on the area. It has been a month now. Help! Is this a common area of L-pain?

Lyme certainly can come back, and often affects muscles and joints, but you'd probably have to eliminate other diagnoses. Have you asked your regular dr?

Yes, it is, unfortunately, since the bacteria are found early on in the brain and spinal cord and inflame the nerves.
You may want to consider seeing an LLMD for care. You can post in the Seeking A Doctor section.
I have had continuous chiropractic care for my spinal issues.

You will get many more responses if you post this question in "Medial Questions." You can find Medical Questions by clicking "Questions and Discussion" on the upper right of this screen.
I won't move your topic to Medical Questions, because I figure that you may be looking for a doctor, so I will leave this here.
