I am an adult who recently pulled a tick off my arm. One week later I started with heart palpatations, speaking issues, headaches and many other nuerological issues.

15 yrs ago I had very severe lyme and the dr that finally helped me is no longer practicing.

Another concern I have is that I have a 3 month old baby I am currently nursing and need to know how the baby may be affected. Thank you.

Private message sent.

Here is some info to read. I'm sure you are familiar with it since you have been through this before.

You may want to post your breastfeeding concerns/questions on the Medical Questions board to get more responses.

Lyme can be transmitted through breastfeeding. Perhaps you can pump and discard your milk until you get good advice and enough antibiotics from a LLMD.

The fibromyalgia I've had for 32 years was an undiagnosed Lyme symptom.

If you are willing to drive to the Baltimore beltway, let me know. We have a few good docs on the north side of the beltway, not that far from the PA line.

They follow Burrascano's lyme treatment guidelines.

I see an ILADS LLMD north of Lancaster, an hour from me. Let me know if you want more info.

I am an avid nursing supporter and would never recommend that someone stop nursing unless absolutely necessary. I recommend you stop nursing until you confer with an LLMD.
