My 19 year old son has been treated for Lyme for almost one year by a doctor who uses oral antibiotics only. There's been no improvement. His stomach is so upset that he can't eat.
He's been sick since he was he was 12 years old, but only diagnosed with Lyme since last August.
He wants to see a doctor who will use intravenous in the hope that it won't cause so much stomach distress.
Many people from this site helped me last August with a list of doctors who specialize in children. He was 17 then. Could you help me with a list for New England with physicians who treat adults? Especially those will use IV. He'll be 19 in September.
Thank you.
