Moved to Maui and became very ill with my chronic lyme. Autonomic neuropathy causing me to pass out, arrythmia, unable to digest food, sweats and chills. Can't take antibiotics due to recent terrible bout of C Diff. Any help finding someone local to administer IV glutathione or IVIG would be so appreciated. Would hate to have to leave the island, not sure I'm well enough even to travel. Living alone as I'm a recent widow at age 49l

I sent you a private message, click on the flashing envelope.

I'm sorry but I am no longer accepting any private messages due to my own battle with lyme.

Dear Serendip,
So sorry to hear of your recent loses -- your partner AND your health, plus the stress of moving! Holy smokes! [group hug]

I can't help with an LLMD in HI, but plz let us know if you're still looking after checking out Siciliano's PM.

We welcome you to create additional posts in our "Medical Questions" forum so you can stay on the road to recovery thru your challenging life transitions.

Or just post in "General" and vent or whine? The moon is nearly full an we've about read it all!

Are you familiar with ILADS's Dr Burrascano and his Treatment Guidelines? The 37-pg monograph (OCt 2008, 16th Ed)? Not sure if your other doctor was a LLMD. You don't need IV tx to get into long-term remission.
[woohoo]

Wishing you well,
Smile
p.s. - I believe Dr Joseph Burrascano is the one LLMD we name on LymeNet because he now teaches & trains LLMDs all over the world.
