Hi, I am looking for a lyme literate doctor in the Baltimore area. Dr. L. was recommended in Towson.
I have seen my general dr. many times in last year for increasingly difficult and changing or cycling symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, joint pain, headaches, tingling, confusion. blurry vision, very tired all of the time.
Prior to this I have seen him maybe once per year for bronchitis that is about it.
There is something very wrong with me, I know that. These symptoms seem to cycle. Right now extreme joint pain and swelling, tired, nausea.
I am worried since mental confusion seems to be getting worse - I am forgetting things, getting confused, cannot focus on things people are saying sometimes, forget which way to drive to go somewhere.
My doctor basically said to lose some weight, exercise and reduce whatever stress is in my life and come back in six months. Initial lyme test did come back negative. He would not test further.
Any assistance would be great.
