The doctors here keep telling everyone that Lyme is not in Alabama, but I hear of more and more people being diagnosed in this area. I even went to an Infectious Disease Specialist. Although the tests confirmed that I had Lyme, he said that my joint aches, mental fog, etc. were "just part of getting old" and "to get used to it". He told another patient that all he needed was physical therapy--even though the patient is still suffering effects. Does anyone know of a LLMD Doctor (maybe in B'ham or Huntsville)? Thanks.

You must enable private messaging... We don't give out names of LLMD's otherwise. Click on 'my profile' above to do this.

Once that is done, send me a private message by clicking on the 2 people above MY post and I'll respond with the information that you need. [Smile]

Your test confirmed you do have lyme!! We have lyme Drs that can help you, even in Alabama where there is LYME DISEASE!! There is lyme disease in EVERY State. I will send you some help when you enable messages.

We are not able to send you any private messages because you need to activate a setting first.

Go to top of page and click on My Profile, then click on Edit Profile, look at the bottom left side and you will see "Enable Private Messaging", check that block. This will allow you to receive private messages from anyone.

Also, if done correctly, you should see an icon to the right of your screen name on the board, of an envelope with 2 people standing next to it. This will show that others can click on "your" envelope and send you a private message. [Smile]

I'm sorry but I am no longer accepting any private messages due to my own battle with lyme.
