My son is 8 years old and he has been having symptoms for the past 4 months (pain in neck and left elbow, back pain, chest pain, 1 day fever, motor ticks in his neck and elbow). The lyme (IgG/IgA) test taken 1 month ago was negative. I took him to a so called specialist at the Children's hospital of Philadelphia. They read the test and observed that he does not have the swelling of the joints (which is what they said would be happening at the stage of 3 months). They suggested a Neurologist. I do have a future Neurologist appointment because my son's paternal grandfather has motor ticks and I read the manual of the Nintendo DSI game and it says it may cause motor ticks. My son is in pain, he doesn't understand why the doctors are not helping him. What are your thoughts? Do you think I should persue Lyme and begin treating it naturally until I can get a real Lyme doctor or is it just motor ticks? Thank you for your help!

I'm sorry but I am no longer accepting any private messages due to my own battle with lyme.
