I'm an herbalist/teacher--looking for a LLMD in the Central Jersey area.. I have the names of Dr. E and Dr. S. Does anyone have experience with either? AND Are there others around my area? (Preferably taking BCBS PPO insurance!) I'm looking forward to sharing my herbal protocols with members.

** edited to remove doctor's names **

Dear herbalist,
Welcome to the supportive LymeNet community!

Need to ask you a favor ASAP. Please modify your post to remove the full names of LLMDs. That's not allowed on LymeNet. We only use the initial of their last name and the state, no cities.

This is required to protect our ability to receive appropriate medical treatment. The Lyme Wars (corrupt insurers & big pharma vs patients suffering chronic illness) force us to create a 21st century "Underground Railroad" which includes protecting our brave heroes, the LLMDs, LLDOs, LLNPs, and LLRNs who assist us in acheiving long-term remission of Borreliosis and synergistic co-infections.

To edit or delete a post, look for the icon of little white pad w/pencil across from your screen name. Click on that.

You may wish to re-write as "Dr. E and Dr. S of NJ."

There are many members in your area, and we'll be happy to assist you soon.

Thanks for your consideration and anticipated prompt editing.
Smile

Our alert moderator, "Six", beat you to the required edit, herbalist.

She's posted a helpful topic that appears near the top of the "Seeking a Doctor" forum, and we suggest you read it: "New Members! Please read regarding posting!"

In that post, you'll come to understand that members cannot offer the info you requested unless you allow for private messaging ("PMs") in your profile.

All that said, I'll begin again with welcoming you...
[hi]
I'm excited to have you join in our discussions! We'd benefit from the insights of another herbalist and teacher!

New Jersey residents are in dire need of education regarding the realities of the magnitude and dangers of chronic LD.

Have you read "Healing Lyme" by master herbalist & psychotherapist, Stephen Harrod Buhner? It's excellent! (We can use his full name in posts since he doesn't treat Lyme patients with antibiotics as do LLMDs.)

Do you suffer from Lyme disease & co-infections yourself?

Best wishes,
Smile

Dear Herbalist----Hi, we are not able to send you any private messages because you need to activate a setting first.

Go to top of page and click on My Profile, then click on Edit Profile, look at the bottom left side and you will see "Enable Private Messaging", check that block. This will allow you to receive private messages from anyone.

Also, if done correctly, you should see an icon to the right of your screen name on the board, of an envelope with 2 people standing next to it. This will show that others can click on "your" envelope and send you a private message.

I'm sorry but I am no longer accepting any private messages due to my own battle with lyme.
