I am in Salt Lake City, Utah and was diagnosed in 2003 by an out of state doctor. I was able to see him for a couple of years until he retired.
During that time, I was on oral and IV abx and my symptoms improved quite a bit.
During the last year, the only doctors I have found that are treating Lyme are ND's. I have tried numerous supplements, IV's, etc. and had no improvement. They have been unwilling (or unable do to ND license - I'm not sure) to prescribe another round of IV abx. I have spent thousands of dollars out of pocket because my insurance won't pay for ND's.
Does anyone know of a MD experienced in Lyme in Utah? I cannot afford to continue with ND tx with no improvement.
Thanks,
AmandaPI
