I am in desperate need of a new LLMD I live in VA, and I am willing to go wherever I have to.My doc was forced to retire by the state at the end of the month.I just got my port-a-cath in March and now I don't have a doc willing to write for the IV antibiotics.

I suggest you contact all the lyme support groups in your state and others nearby. Click on "Support Groups" on left side of page.
Also, does the doc have to be in Virginia to write for the IV meds for you? Doesn't it take some procedure for an out-of-state doc to be able to do it for you? And, isn't it a time-consuming procedure?
