Hi,

My daughter was diagnosed this past May or so, with Lyme and Ehrlichiosis.

She's been on Doxy and several other antibiotics which do not seem to be working.

My GP previously said if these drugs don't work, the next step would be IV antibiotics.

My daughter just called her last week to say she was not feeling any better, and the GP now said to just stop taking everything.

My daughter is afraid to stop everything for fear she will feel much worse, and confused that the GP is now not mentioning the IV antibiotics, and has not indicated any next step.

My daughter wants a 2nd opinion, and I'd like it to be with a Lyme Literate doctor.

I don't know all the nitty gritty details on this whole venture because my daughter is over 18. I've not been entitled to all her information because of the privacy law.

I've listed my states in order of preference, as I live in MD, but if need be I will drive anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic, and if necessary, since my husband works for an airline, I would consider flying anywhere nationwide to be seen by the best doctor we could find who would see her soon.

Thank you so much for your help,
God Bless You,
madismom
