After getting to know Dr. Sc in PA, I can tell you all there is to know about thim.
He is very very anxious to get his patients to go on IV Rocephin and will try and convince them to keep going with it after they are done their initial 30 or 60 days. He is out to get your money.
He does get some people better that are JUST suffering from lyme, however, he DOES NOT believe in coinfections. He will not treat for coinfections. Also, he will make you do your daily IV in his office every single day as he will not write a script for you to do it at home claiming "It cuts into 50% of his profit"
STAY AWAY FROM DR. SC!

Totally agree with nybacketball212. And if you test negative you get nothing from him - except the offer for IV Therapy at your own cost.
PhillyLyme, please edit your post and change the doctor's name to "Dr. S in NJ". You might get a better response if you create a separate post in 'Seeking a Doctor' with Dr. S in NJ in the subject line.

I agree about Dr. Sc; in fact, the receptionist is pretty clear when you call to make an initial inquiry.
That's why I ruled this doc out and found another llmd. Also, as xo said, he is pretty unwilling to work with anyone who tests negative for Lyme and cos. I tested cdc positive, so that wouldn't have been an issue for me.
But the only-iv treatment protocol and no co-treatment put me off.
