Remember that the LLMD's hands can be tied by an insurance company.
I'm sure there ARE some who take BC/BS though.

Yes, there's a doctor in Maryland, but I personally haven't heard from LD patients he may have gotten into long-term remission. I haven't seen him listed as an ILADS LLMD. A patient would need to make more inquiries.
This Lyme-Aware doc is Board Certified in Family Practice, Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. He is also an acupuncturist, has trained under the well-known & successful Dr K., and can do ART testing for patients.
Dr R. treats patients who have Lyme disease by working as their PCP, not as a consultant. He ONLY accepts patients with BCBS PPO insurance.
Dr R. uses MDL in Mt. Laurel, NJ for some Lyme disease testing. Other routine blood work is done "in-house."
As of May 2010, new patients wait about two months for an open appointment with him.
