I'm going to get IV treatment from Dr. R in January.

Is anyone out there a current patient?

I've heard mixed results... but most folks around the Birmingham area have had great results and are now off antibiotics after her treatment. I've actually met these people so I know that her treatment is agressive and tough... but has good results in at least 7 of her patients. They are, in fact, in remission or what I consider cured.

I've been doing orals with Dr. R for a year and have improved dramatically. She tested the hell out of me for eveything but I'm glad because I've had some digestive and hormone issues that have been addressesd - and they've made a big difference.

Not sure why she gets a bad wrap... Moving is a pain in the a@s, and of course... it's expensive. But if I'm taking hard core meds and herxing I'd just as soon be under the care of a good physician that I can visit with one on one.

HOWEVER, if you have had or heard of other experiences, please share. I need to know before I spend the money! Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated!

Note: If you have not actually been to Dr. R and have heresay information.... I'm not really intersted. I'd like to actually hear from those who have been in treatment with her currently or previously.

Thanks so much for your help. This forum has such a wealth of info, I hope to hear from a few of you.
