I'm a chronic (perhaps 34 years) sufferer of Lyme, recently diagnosed (sort-of) by my family MD... He has referred me to the Cleveland Clinic to see a Dr. J.
This diagnosis, referral, and appointment on Monday, 1/03, is literally happening overnight, and I'm a little confused/concerned. Any advice or references would be greatly appreciated.
Happy New Year! Bob

I'm not sure how the Cleveland Clinic will help you. We went that route too only to get a diagnosis of FMS and to try PT and get good sleep. They were no help. Not sure if you are going to a rheumatologist or infectious disease. My sickest child did not get better for 3 years until he was seen by an ILADS doctor. He is now improving no thanks to the 19 docs he saw previously. I think someone will reply and tell you that CC does not do Lyme. Do you have any labs to support Lyme? Will your family MD help you get tested through IGeneX? I will send a PM.

Dr. J is a rheumatologist/autoimmune specialist. That is all I was able to garner from Cleveland Clinic's website.

I just sent littlebit and Bobdog a PM with my LLMD in the Cleveland, OH area. (happy to send one to anyone else needing the info)
My first bite was in the early '70s, and the second in 2003. I started Lyme treament 8 months ago and am improving :-)
