My seventeen yr old daughter has been suffering from moderate to severe tingling throughout her body since Sept. 7th, 2010.

She tested borderline positive for lyme Nov. 2nd and was given oral antibiotics for 4 wks. She then tested negative on the Western Blot test. The Infectous Dis. dr. said she didn't have lyme.

Two different neurologists can't find anything wrong with her.

We are looking for a LLMD in Idaho or Oregon.
The tingling is continuing and increasing in strength. She also has muscle aches, joint aches and is very tired all the time.

She would have been bit about 10 yrs ago, when I saw a small red ring around a bite.

I used to live in OR and there are NO good LLMDs there. You have to go to either WA or CA. If you haven't already gotten an answer, PM me and I will send you the contacts of a few docs.

Best of luck!

Emily-- there really are some great LLMD's and LLND's in Oregon. ND's have perscription rights in OR too, so they are often the way to go. Sorry you had such a bad experience.

LLWS, If you haven't found a good LLND/MD PM me and I'll give you some WA names. Most in Seattle area though.

I too have a 17 yo daughter who was sick for a long time before diagnosis. You got to keep pushing for the right tests/answers from the right labs/dr's. IGenix is the lab. Once you get hooked up with the right doc, they will have her tested through IGenix. Sounds like Lyme.

You can PM (private message) me if you would like to talk about Lyme and your daughter. Us Mom's need to stick together.

Best wishes to you and your daughter.
