I'm trying to decide between a couple of LLMD on the East Coast.

Really want to make sure they have successfully gotten patients into long term remission.

Am also hoping for someone who goes by Burrascano.

Does anyone know if Dr. R in NY fits this?

Has anyone had successful experiences with Dr. H or Dr. R or know of people who have?

Thanks

Hi muddyfeet...

I noticed you have not gotten an answer. I don't have any experience with him either.

If it is the same doctor I am thinking of, I have watched a series of videos he did for a Rotary club in RI on Lyme and coinfections. I was very impressed with him and would like to see him myself.

The videos are a little annoying to follow because they were uploaded backwards and video5 will forward to 4, etc. You have to self-click through them.

Here is a link.

Hi, Yes it is the Dr. R in the video links. I'm trying to decide between Dr. R and Dr. H in New York.

Someone who follows Burrascano is very important to me and so I'm leaning towards Dr. H.

If anyone has had any personal experience with either it would be great to hear.

Thanks

I go to Dr. R's practice and I know a family who goes to him, he's helped so many people. I just started with that group though...but I can tell you my friend's husband and daughter have been in remission. They had wonderful things to say about Dr R. Which is why i went.

I am new to all this and don't know what Burrascano means, im assuming it's a treatment protocol? Good luck with whoever u choose and if you want to know what regimen they have me on u can message me.

I know people who have had good results with each of these LLMD's.

I see DR R in NYC and he has been a blessing to me. After only two visits I understand so much more about this disease.

He is not an alarmist which is great. He is so knowledgeable and mellow and that calming voice makes you feel like you can conquer this with no problem. His office is always kind and the will call you back or email you before the day is out.

His Pa that also treats and diagnoses is the PA from Burrascanos office so he follows the protocol. Hope this helps. You are welcome to PM me anytime or email for info

Thanks everyone.

I truly appreciate the time and energy it takes to reply.

This has all been helpful info. I got an apt. with Dr. H and am "looking forward" to it in that weird Lyme world way. [Smile]
