Hi there, I desperately need help finding a LLMD in Texas -preferably close to Austin-.

Been going through a myriad of symptoms over the last 6 weeks, been to a gazillion doctors & tests with no results.

I remember being bit by a tic when I was 10. Developed large rings on back of leg, but don't think I was diagnosed with lymes at the time, can't remember how it was treated.

I'm now -19 years later- having symptoms similar to MS, but MS has been ruled out by brain MRI.

symptoms I'm having on a daily basis

* Tinnitus

* Flu-achy off and on <--REALLY bad when I attempt to exercise, next two days I feel like I have the flu/am on the brink of death.

* Dizzy, wooziness, off balance feeling

* Often no energy at all, feeling fatigued

* Sometimes crippling exhaustion not relieved by rest -can sleep entire days away-

* Numbness/tingling in left arm/leg

* Muscle Twitching -apparently v. bad while I'm asleep, according to boyfriend-

* Headaches, most at base of skull -was getting these daily, were debilitating but now only get them off and on-

* Light sensitivity -hurts eyes-

* Concentration terrible, brain fog

* Dull ear ache feeling off and on

* Occasionally dropping things

* Chronic stomach problems, rumbly/cramps, sometimes bloated

* Feeling nauseated most of the time

Other symptoms which aren't always present

* Muscles feel weak and heavy
* confusion
* paralysis in right arm for 4 hours one day
* slurred speech/could barely walk one day
* eye twitching occasionally

Please help!

Also, I live in Waco, Texas and was recently dx with lyme in dec. 2010 all your symptoms are exactly as mine, even the tinnitus in ears...yuck..i thought initially it was ms but neurologist said no, he didnt know what i had, and then gp said he didnt either, when i asked if it could be lyme they said it's rare and not in texas...i had the pleasure of writing both of those docs very nice letters when i got my dx. [Smile] they have support groups in austin also.

There aren't many, if any, doctors in Tx so I go to Louisiana to see JF. If you want #, let me know.
