I read on another post there are no LLMD doctors in Texas. My father is in Dallas with Lyme and he needs help!! I live in Colorado, but he can't travel. He is 75 and has had Lyme for 2 1/2 yrs now and I'm so very concerned. Trying to learn about the disease; I'm new on this site. Thanks for any info. Julie

Yes, unfortunately it's true. As you read in another post most Texans are forced to go out of state for treatment.
You can learn about the disease by reading and getting involved in the "Medical" section and also read some of the pinned posts on the top of this section, for starters.
You can use the search tool on this site to look up any topic or symptom and it will pull up previous discussions.
I'll send you some info.

You'll need to take him to LA or MO. That's the closest LLMD to where your dad lives. I'm sure Abxnomore has sent you the contact information on these two LLMD's.
